Community of faith are now wrestling what this means within their churches and synagogues. Everyone knows someone who suffers from anxiety, depression, or another form of mental illness, but a stigma around mental health remains--especially in the church. As a pastor and licensed psychotherapist Ryan Casey Waller has taken on the relationship of mental health and faith while addressing the role of self-care, compassion, and restoration.

Ryan isn't just looking as this from a clinical and professional point of view. He is also a co-sufferer in the journey of finding health not only for others but also for himself. In today's conversation we look at the realities facing Depression and Anxiety and how the faith community can help bring hope and help for those struggling.
